Looking to create magic for a live or filmed performance?
As a magic consultant based in Los Angeles, I combine 20 years of production experience, on and off stage.
I specialize in practical magic — magic that can be performed live and does not require the use of CGI. With performance experience in close-up magic, illusions, lighting, and set design, I bring my knowledge together with an expert network of engineers and visual artists to fulfill any challenge.
I’ve recently consulted for America’s Got Talent, The Late Late Show with James Corden, Netflix’s THE WITCHER, and other working magicians.

Brainstorm

Previs Your Effect
Storyboard and/or animate your effect, so you can figure out each beat of magic, step-by-step.
Proof of Concept
Design a working prototype before you go into production, so we can figure out how to integrate the magic into your project.
Training
Train actors and work with directors on how to perform and capture magic for the camera or stage. Help other magicians improve their stage presence.
Labor
Have your magic consultant on set, provide onsite technicians, work with rigging departments to ensure the effect works and is captured in its best light.
Maximum Impact
Take an existing illusion or routine and figure out ways to improve the illusion for maximum audience impact.
